Wellness lighting: light that makes tranquillity tangible
When designing a wellness space, the aim is to create an atmosphere that promotes tranquillity. The right lighting is an essential part of this: soft, warm and tailored to the space.
In spaces where every detail counts, light is not just decoration, but part of the architecture. Warm tones, soft transitions and natural materials combine to create an atmosphere that is not only visible, but also tangible.
Light that contributes to relaxation and balance
In a wellness area, lighting is more than just functional. It must evoke tranquillity, support the space and enhance the feeling of relaxation. That is why it is interesting to opt for warm light temperatures and dimmable solutions that move with the rhythm of the day.
Bright light in the morning, softer and more intimate in the evening. This creates a beautiful harmony between body, light and space.

Warmth and natural materials in wellness areas
Materials such as natural stone, wood or linen require soft, diffused light. Brass or alabaster luminaires enhance this natural look. They diffuse the light in a warm, soft way.
One example is the Bellefeu collection. With a patented LED system that mimics the flickering of candlelight, it brings the serenity of real fire. And it does so in a safe, dimmable and maintenance-free way. This preserves the tranquillity of the space without compromising on comfort or safety.

Lighting for saunas, spas or hammams
Whether it's a bathroom, sauna, hammam or spa, every wellness concept requires lighting that adapts to humidity and temperature. Not only is the atmosphere important, but also the technical construction of the fixture.
In damp areas, safety and durability are essential. The correct IP rating (Ingress Protection) determines how well a lamp is protected against moisture and dust. This rating can also vary from country to country.
Zone 0: direct contact with water: IP67 or higher
Zone 1: above bath or shower → IP44 or higher
Zone 2: around bath or shower → IP44 or higher
Outside zones: limited exposure → IP20 or higher
Brass fixtures retain their beauty even in humid environments. Over time, they even develop a deeper patina.

From discrete wall lighting to portable battery-powered lamps: each fixture is hand-assembled in Belgium, with an eye for detail and durability. In addition to mood-enhancing fixtures such as Bellefeu in wax or alabaster, there are many fixtures that are suitable for damp or wet areas. All our products come with a data sheet containing all the technical information, including the IP rating.
We are happy to think along with you and help you choose the right fixtures for each area.
